Mammoet successfully transports bridge construction
At the end of May, Mammoet transported a 385-tonne bridge construction in Edmonton, West Canada. In the process, the so-called ABC method - Accelerated Bridge Contruction - was implemented. This means that the production of the bridge components is realized at small production facilities and not through the use of bridge foundations. This results in reduced congestion and is a good deal safer as working at great heights is no longer necessary. For transporting the 57-metre long and 11.5-metre wide construction, 24 Scheuerle SPMT axle lines were used.
